Let’s start off with customer service. Xtip.de has some of the most polite agents we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with, but the overall grade is closer to zero than you might have thought. Despite the knowledge of the bookie’s employees, support is available only via email, 9:30 am to 8 pm on weekdays and 10:30 am to 9 pm on weekends. In a world where bookmakers and players rely on live chat, Skype and other forms of communication - this is a major letdown.

In banking, things get a wee bit better. We were amazed to see that PayPal is available, which many bettors consider the best and easiest way to wire money. Withdrawal options are disappointing, with only bank transfer and Skrill allowing you to withdraw your winnings. Overall, it takes time and effort to be able to actually see your money. That’s going to be a hard pass from us and you should definitely avoid them until this section gets expanded.

The design, although excellently executed, is nothing we haven’t already seen. Even though the combo of black, yellow and white brings liveliness to the site, you wouldn’t be able to recognize Xtip.de because this color scheme has been overused in recent years. Betting odds at XTip are competitive overall. Soccer betting margin is 4.0%, tennis betting margin is 6.5%, ice hockey betting margin is 8.0%, basketball with 6.5% and so on. The overall betting margin is 6.9%. These betting margins have been calculated using odds from different events in each sport. Please note that margins may be different from a sport to another, and even from a league to other.

As a European powerhouse, Xtip mainly focuses on providing betting coverage for football-related events. This comes as no surprise and we can’t help but notice the extensive number of special bets available for German Bundesliga matches. We’ve tested their sportsbook section for about a week and we have to say - it’s amazing to be able to build Acca slips in the middle of the week. Security and Fairness

It’s evident that Xtip is devoted to maintaining a high level of security. With every deposit or withdrawal request, you are required to send a copy of your ID, a bank statement and a screenshot of your account. While we admire the effort, it’s rather annoying to have to go through so much hassle. Nevertheless, they are licensed by the Maltese and British governments. They are indeed secure, but the archaic identity verification methods need to go, ASAP.
